The approach is commendable, and these guys definitely check the “local” box.
Results Technology is another St. Louis IT service that’s focused on, as they put it, “RESULTS.”
Here’s how they describe their approach:
“IT support for the office…wherever that may be. For SMBs, community banks, nonprofits & veteran-owned businesses.”
If your business falls into one of those industry categories, then Results Technology may be worth considering. However, it’s worth noting that they aren’t specifically focused on the St. Louis area; they provide IT service across the Midwest, and they’re actually primarily focused in Kansas.
So, if you’re looking for a truly local St. Louis IT service, you may do better to consider other options.
US Cloud is an interesting IT service. They’re even less locally focused than Results Technology – as suggested by their name, they serve on a national scale, and they’re actually near the middle of the Inc. 5000 list.
More importantly, they focus solely on the support of Microsoft technologies. Here’s how they explain their service on their website:
“US Cloud is the proven leader in providing reputable Microsoft support to businesses and enterprises world-wide. We enable Microsoft Premier (Unified) Support customers to enjoy ultra-responsive support from US citizens, save 30% to 50% on support costs and free up funds to drive innovation.”
US Cloud’s main pitch is to replace Microsoft Premier support; unlike many of the other services listed here, they aren’t a general managed IT service provider. Accordingly, if your business isn’t an enterprise using Microsoft systems, this service likely isn’t for you.
Like US Cloud, Turnkey Solutions is focused on the Microsoft space. However, they’re more specifically focused on Microsoft Dynamics development and support.
Here’s how they describe it on their about page:
“Turnkey offers end-to-end professional services including design, project management, implementation, application maintenance, integration services, development, analytics, training, and support services for Dynamics solutions. We invest time to define client requirements and objectives as part of every engagement and customer relationship, enabling us to become an extension of your team.”
If your firm is considering a Dynamics implementation, Turnkey Technologies may be worth a look. However, if you need more than that, you’ll need to look elsewhere. Like US Cloud, while Turnkey Technologies is a quality IT company, they don’t offer a broad range of support services.
Anderson Technologies is another St. Louis IT company located to the west of the city near Manchester. They’re a bit more focused on small businesses. Here’s how they describe things on their website’s homepage:
“We are a St. Louis IT company of experts in optimizing technology to meet the demands of your business. Whether frustrated by hassles and glitches or looking for a trusted partner to provide small business IT support and configure your systems for growth, call Anderson Technologies to find enlightened solutions for all your computer challenges. We provide the IT consulting St. Louis firms need to be competitive in today’s market place!”
If you have a limited number of workstations, this may be a great option to consider.
NWO IT Services is more generally focused than the previous few services on this list, but they seem to serve mostly small businesses. Here’s how they describe their IT service:
“We strive to deliver the highest quality service while also fostering a preferred partnership with our local roots. It is our main goal, then, to give exceptional service and value to each of our customers.”
They deliver IT service under the managed service model, and also provide business VoIP support. One of their big selling points is their 30-minute call-back time.
Like Computer St. Louis, it’s pretty obvious what this company does and where they serve. St. Louis IT Solutions is focused primarily on basic managed IT services. Their website explains things this way:
“At St. Louis IT Solutions, we offer the following basic service categories: Monitoring Only, and Monitoring & Remediation. There are other services that can be added to the basic managed services mentioned above. These may include managed anti-virus, managed backup, on-site support, virtual CIO services (vCIO). Each of these services typically adds cost to the managed services.”
This company is a bit more of a boutique, and, like NWO and others, is primarily focused on serving small businesses. If that’s you, they may be a good fit, but if you’re looking for support for more than a few workstations, you may want to consider other options.
Alliance Technology has taken a fun approach to branding their IT support (or a slightly-too-intense approach, depending on your perspective). If you look at their site, you’ll see they’ve personified their service as a kind of science fiction superhero: Armada, who saves businesses from cybercriminals and other IT issues.
It’s an entertaining angle. And, underneath the flashiness, there’s a commitment to providing quality service. From their about page:
“There is an unparalleled confidence that you get from knowing that your technology works, that you can rely on it, and that you can serve your customers without IT hassles and headaches. The Alliance Technology Partners team has the experience and the industry-recognized credentials to deliver! But more than that, WE CARE. We care about our work, our community, and our clients. That’s the X-factor that you are looking for.”
Caring – about work, the St. Louis community, and clients – does make a difference.
ThrottleNet is primarily focused on providing cybersecurity services and network protection. In those things, they lean heavily on their expertise. Here’s how they describe it on their team page:

We don’t take the same approach with our jargon, obviously, but the emphasis here is clear: technical expertise is built into the team, which is a good thing. And here’s how they describe their service:

In today’s world, cybersecurity expertise is increasingly foundational in any company’s IT support plan.
CMIT Solutions is all-in on the managed services model; the acronym in the company’s name stands for Completely Managed Information Technology.
In that, they’re focused on comprehensive and quick issue support. Here’s how they put it:
“We offer custom IT Support solutions for everyone in the office. Businesses look to CMIT when they have technology problems. We can help you ﬁnd a solution.”
Note that they are not St.-Louis-specific; they’re part of a North-American-wide system with over 160 locations, so there’s the risk that you might end up feeling like a number as one of their clients.
Wheelhouse Solutions is a managed IT service that strives to do everything for businesses of all sizes. Here’s how they explain their approach on their website:
“Headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri and continuously serving the St. Louis area since 2000, Wheelhouse Solutions is a Managed Services Provider (MSP) that works hard to ensure that our customers can have total confidence in their IT Solutions. We work with businesses of every size to provide Managed IT Services, including Help Desk & IT Support Services.”
Wheelhouse notes that they also “provide IT & voice services to businesses throughout the United States.” So, if you’re looking for a local-first provider, they may not be an ideal fit. Additionally, if you’re looking for a specific focus area – say, services for mid-sized firms – there may be more tailored options.
SSE (Systems Service Enterprises, Inc.) has an interesting backstory. The company was founded by Susan S. Elliot in 1966 to help businesses incorporate technology into their workflows. The business adapted over time, and, today, it offers both IT services and training services with a government focus.
Here’s how they describe their approach:
“We are a St. Louis-based tech company stepping ahead with a mission of accelerating business through technology-enabled solutions, services and support. Today, SSE has two lines of business; Network & IT Security Services and Training & Government Services to put our expertise on display.”
If you’re looking for technology assistance for your government agency, SSE is an IT service that’s certainly worth a look.
While SSE serves government organizations, CompuType IT Solutions is focused on small businesses and home users. The company has an impressive IT service background, boasting over 200 years of combined technical experience among their staff members.
Here’s how they put it:
“Since 1988, CompuType has been the St. Louis Metro East Area’s leader in providing comprehensive technology solutions from home users to large businesses. No job is too small or too large for CompuType.”
While they do offer managed IT services, their offerings are primarily suited for small operations running a handful of workstations.

While the Brain Mill is small-business focused, Pearl Solutions Group has the capability to offer IT services at a slightly larger scale – they specialize in midsize businesses with 30 to 300 workers.
Here’s how they describe their approach on their homepage:
“We are approachable and persistent in solving IT problems, whether that is taking care of day-to-day issues or in achieving long-term goals.”
As you might expect from a mid-market firm, they offer the full gamut of IT services – from managed IT to cybersecurity to mobile workforce management.
While Pearl Solutions Group is a worthy option, they aren’t focused specifically in St. Louis – so if you want a local provider focused on your business and able to be onsite quickly, they may not be your number one choice.
