ATB Technologies is growing … by 69% to be exact. After expanding our client base and number of employees over the past five years, ATB is proud to announce the opening of 4,500 square feet of additional office space to support our current and future growth.
ATB Technologies occupies 6,500 square feet of office space on the fourth floor of a building on North Outer Forty Road, visible from I-64/Highway 40 in Chesterfield. On June 30, the ATB team expanded, moving into its new space on the fifth floor, bringing ATB’s total square footage to 11,000.
“We moved into our space in 2018. At the time, we had about half the staff we have now,” said Christopher Miller, ATB Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “We’ve grown over the last five years, and we reached the point where we maxed out our space. As we look ahead with our growth strategy, we need more space.”
ATB expects to increase its employees from 25 to 45 in the near future, and the new space will accommodate the needs of its technical staff for at least the next three years.
“As we look ahead, that gives us the space we need to grow,” said Ramon Bahl, CEO. “Around the three-year mark, we’ll have to start reassessing and determining if we’re on the same trajectory and what we’re going to need after that point.”
When adding space, ATB leadership felt it important to stay in the same location, close to the interstate and St. Louis as a whole.
“We made the investment to have our signage on the building, which gives us that visibility, along Highway 40,” Bahl said.
For ATB, being intentional is more than just being in the right location. It’s about sustainable, intentional growth in clients and employees.
“We only look to add four or five clients a year, and it’s strategic in the sense that it doesn’t overwhelm our team,” Miller said. “What that means is we retain our employees because they’re not overwhelmed, and it provides a more consistent and better user experience to our existing and new clients. It means we can provide a great service and continue to make a positive impact on our community.”
